Downhill hairpin turns

On the hairpin trail, experts can become experts in alpine trail riding. Here, the curves are so tight and narrow that they can only be mastered by shifting the rear wheel. In addition, the curves are garnished with other obstacles, such as steps. Especially in the alpine area, the single trails often have such tricky curves, but there they are often combined with exposed terrain. In the Swiss Bike Park, the very demanding riding technique can be practiced without the risk of falling.

"Narrow and steep - the hairpin section is laid out like an alpine mountain bike trail. In order to ride it, there is no way around the technically demanding rear wheel reversal. This technique can be optimally practiced here in a protected setting with manageable risk."
